Dekker Vacuum Technologies Acquires HullVac Pump

Dekker Vacuum Technologies, one of the top vacuum equipment manufacturers and suppliers in the industry, announces the acquisition of HullVac Pump Corporation, based in Ivyland, Pennsylvania.

HullVac provides rotary piston and rotary vane pumps and systems to a wide range of industries where performance and reliability are critical. In additon, HullVac’s intensive product development programs drive technical innovations that improve customer production processes.

HullVac operations will be moved to Dekker corporate facilities in Michigan City, Indiana.

New HullVac 1280 CFM Rotary Piston Vacuum Pump Provides Faster Evacuation and Lower Maintenance.

HullVac Pump Corporation, a manufacturer of industrial high vacuum pumps and pumping systems, today announced the release of the HV1280, their largest vacuum pump to date. At 1280 cubic feet per minute displacement, this bruiser pays huge dividends where a faster evacuation equals higher profits.

These premium quality pumps offer increased pumping speed in a small footprint and include novel design features that increase operating life while reducing maintenance needs. The innovative design that keeps bearings outboard and away from process contamination also makes the pumps field serviceable. Double redundant Viton® shaft seals riding on hardened sleeves keep process grit from damaging the bearings while assuring leak-free operation. Other benefits include all metal exhaust valves, a large oil sight port with visual oil flow indication and caged hinge bars that extend operating life without the need for costly re-boring.

"The new HV1280 is designed to fit into a multitude of industrial applications," said Patrick Morris, VP of Sales and Marketing for HullVac Pump Corporation.

“The New HVC180 Vacuum Pump is designed to fit into a multitude of industrial applications” said Patrick Morris, VP of Sales and Marketing for HullVac Pump Corporation. Recently; HullVac supplied an HVC180 Vacuum Pump system to a large manufacturer of photovoltaic manufacturing equipment. The high volume CFM vacuum pump system increased their efficiency and thereby assisted in reducing overall operating expenses.

New HullVac HVC180 Two Stage Rotary Piston High Vacuum Pump Offers Increased Uptime, Smooth Operation, and Lower Operating Costs

HullVac Pump Corporation, a manufacturer of industrial high vacuum pumps and pumping systems, today announced the release of their new HVC 180 Two Stage Rotary Piston High Vacuum Pump. This vacuum pump offers increased pumping speed and a unique bearing design that helps increase operating life while reducing maintenance needs associated with harsh applications.

The purchase price for a new HVC180 (180CFM) is less than the cost of a 150 CFM model. In addition, ongoing savings are achieved through a reduction in required maintenance, and significantly less oil usage. Having a displacement of 180 CFM, it is capable of reaching ultimate pressures of 5x10-3 torr.

The HVC180 provides versatility in conjunction with a small footprint. Standard features include outboard bearings, new designed exhaust valve decks, large oil sight port with visual oil flow indication, caged hinge bars, and heavy duty shaft. The HVC180 is constructed with redundant Viton® shaft seals that ride on hardened shaft sleeves to guard against leakage.

New HullVac HV635 Rotary Piston Vacuum Pump Offers Increased Uptime and Decreased Cost of Ownership

HullVac Pump Corporation, a manufacturer of industrial high vacuum pumps and pumping systems, today announced the release of their Next Generation rotary piston high vacuum pumps. These premium quality pumps offer increased pumping speed in a small footprint and novel design features that increase operating life while reducing maintenance needs associated with harsh applications.

Purchase price for the 635 CFM displacement pump is less than the cost of two 300 CFM pumps. Ongoing savings are achieved because maintenance and oil usage is significantly less than for the two pumps replaced by one HV635. The innovative design that keeps bearings outboard and away from process contamination also makes the pumps field serviceable. Viton® shaft seals riding on hardened sleeves keep process grit from damaging the bearings. Other design benefits include all metal exhaust valves, a large oil sight port with visual oil flow indication and caged hinge bars that extend operating life without the need for costly re-boring.

“The new HV635 is designed to fit into a multitude of industrial applications,” said Patrick Morris, VP of Sales and Marketing for HullVac Pump Corporation. Recently, HullVac supplied HV635 vacuum pumps to a large custom manufacturer of vacuum systems for the automobile industry. The high capacity HV635 pumps are able to evacuate to 8 X 10-3 Torr with reduced overall cycle time resulting in higher production rates.
